EASY  ROUTE
From Interstate 90 take Exit 60 or 61 to SD Hwy 79 South to Hermosa turn right on SD Hwy 40 (toward Keystone) for 13 miles, turn left on Playhouse Road for 4.3 miles, turn left at stop sign on Hwy 16A for 3/4 of a mile, Spokane Creek is on the right.

OR

From Keystone at the stoplight go 2 1/2 miles on Hwy 40 (toward Hermosa,) turn right on Playhouse Road for 4.3 miles, turn left at stopsign on Hwy 16A for 3/4 miles.

OR

From the Jct of Hwy 385 and Hwy 79 (Maverick Jct.) take Hwy 79 to Hermosa turn left on Hwy 40 (toward Keystone) for 13 miles, turn left on Playhouse Road for 4.3 miles, turn left at stop sign on Hwy 16A for 3/4 of a mile, Spokane Creek is on the right.

OR

From Custer, follow U.S. 16A for 25 miles

SCENIC ROUTE
" Through the pigtail bridges and tunnels."
From the Jct.of U.S. 16A and SD 244
( between Keystone and Mt. Rushmore ) turn south on U.S. 16A for 10miles.
NOTE: - Shortest tunnel height 12'4", smallest width, 13'5" - Pigtail bridges have tight curves.
